So. Life's pretty good right now. 4.0 GPA for the first time in three years, Widow Corney with three solos in the Oliver! production, invited into NHS.
And yet I am still unsatisfied because I cannot sing or play any instrument well enough for colleges or prestigious academic/musical applications. And the visual arts are just not as interesting experimentally as these programs would like them to be.

I feel ungrateful but that's okay because I rarely indulge in this degree of self-pity.
